what is the BBC News School Report Day?
Every year, BBC News staff get together with school pupils accross the country to create a day of news programmes.
The BBC provide resources for teachers to use in school, explaining how to write the news. The news is written and presented by school pupils
At Lewisham City Learning Centre we have set up a professional standard TV Studio, so that throughout the year, we can work with local school pupils to produce many school report days.
Our equipment allows us to give pupils a real taste of what it is like to produce and broadcast a news programme themselves.
